Shuttle Bus Instructions AIRLINE PASSENGERS COUNTER: Customer must take the Avis shuttle bus curbside at 2D. Counter is a short ride from the Main Terminal. Avis Courtesy busses circle continuously. NOTE: The Airport Arrival Terminal gates are quite a distance from the Main Terminal & Baggage Claim. Customers will have to take the Auto Train/People Mover between the 2 Terminals. It could take up to 1 hour or more to clear Terminals & reach our Shuttle Bus. If Baggage has been checked, it could take even longer. CARS: Located about 5 minutes from Main Terminal. RETURNS: Same as pick-up. AFTER-HOURS RETURNS: Open 24 hours. Local renters go to car lot. WALK-UP RENTERS Follow airport signs for Rental Car Return. They will lead to the Avis car rental lot.

Driver's licenses printed in a non-Roman alphabet (such as Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc.) must be accompanied by an International Driving Permit.

  Please note that an International Driving Permit (IDP) is only a translation. You must present your original driving licence together with the original IDP at the counter — photocopies or scanned copies are not accepted.

  Renters who have indicated a country of residence outside of the United States or Canada will be also required to present A return airline ticket.
