When I look back now, what I remember most is not the car but the feeling that someone stayed on my side the whole time. I booked a Europcar Citroen C3 in Paris through QEEQ. I picked it up around the morning of April 1 and planned to return it on April 5, everything was pretty clear in my mind. At the counter it was quite busy and I felt a bit nervous. I kept asking the staff again and again. I asked if the price was the same as my booking and if I had already paid everything before. I asked if there would be no extra fee. The staff smiled and said it was all fine. I believed it and signed a few papers and drove away. The real problem came out after I went back home. I saw an extra upgrade fee on my credit card bill and it was not a small amount. I was really confused and also angry. I felt like I got tricked. Can I really book a car with just one dollar This was my first thought when I saw the One-Dollar Freeze option on QEEQ. It said I only needed to pay 1 dollar first to hold the car. I was planning my trip to Nice in France. I would arrive around May 21 at noon and leave around May 27 in the evening. I needed a small automatic car like a Volkswagen Golf. I tried this payment option and on the payment page it really only took 1 dollar. My credit card bill also showed only this small amount. I felt a lot more relaxed because I did not need to pay the full rental price at once. The pressure on my credit card was much lower and I could keep more money for my flight and hotel first. A short time before I arrived in Nice the rest of the rental fee was charged to my card automatically. I did not need to do anything extra and there was no extra charge. When I went to the SIXT counter at the airport to pick up the car the staff checked my booking and everything was fine. They prepared a same group car for me and no one stopped me or asked me to pay some strange extra money because of the payment method. During this rental the thing I liked most was this way of paying only 1 dollar at the start to lock the car. It made the booking feel very easy and my budget felt more flexible.

Was it not unlimited mileage. Did I read it wrong. My English is not very good for long arguments. I also speak French more, so I was afraid I could not explain well.
